Welcome to English and the Curriculum 2012. This unit introduces you to the theory, curriculum and practices of English teaching. This website should be used as a resource to support your learning throughout the course of the semester. Stay connected I encourage you to LIKE the Facebook page to the right, the Literacy Leaders Network, which I have set up to support you. This will give you access to ongoing discussion, micro-blogs and other resources. Share your ideas To encourage group learning, I have posted two spreadsheets in Google Docs where you can jot down your developing ideas on Assignment 1 and Assignment 2. This is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts with your fellow students, and to learn by reading what other students are doing. The Assignment 1 (Multimodal activities) sheet can be found HERE. The Assignment 2 (Program) sheet can be found HERE.
